Souper Bowl of Caring 2026

Stratmoor Hills Methodist Church (SHMC)  participated in the Souper Bowl of Caring 2026. This faith-based organization encourages communities to help proide food for the needy. We did so by donating cans of food to West Side Cares, our local food pantry. SHMC has participated in this food drive many times in the past, but this year, our donation was phenomenal!

We donated 21,00 cans of food!

We began our food drive in September 2025 and ended on Super Bowl Sunday 2026. Team competition was strong here at SHMC and the dorner of each can of food received one vote for their favorite football team. In the end, the Pittsburg Steelers won our competition! Besides the cans of food, we also donated winter gloves to West Side Cares.
